Tottenham V Everton

Martin Jol will consider changing his striking options after his side drew a blank against Sunderland, with Darren Bent poised to start.

Michael Dawson (ankle) faces a late fitness test, while Gareth Bale, Ledley King, Aaron Lennon, Young-Pyo Lee and Benoit Assou-Ekotto are all still out.

Everton are likely to be unchanged from the win over Wigan.

Leighton Baines (hamstring) stays sidelined along with Tim Cahill, James Vaughan and James McFadden.

im gutted we lost but the team were just not good enough (again).i had high hopes for this season but it looks like the same old spurs.it dosent make good reading to see us proping up the league and the goons will be laughing at us yet again im starting to have second thoughts about martin hes spent a lot of money in the last few seasons and he still cant get it right is he really the right man for us? what do you think ?

I think BMJ is the right man for us, he has brought much optimism to the club these past couple of years.
Having all our defenders out injured dosn't help for sure, as for the same old spurs. If we go back to the bad old days of getting rid of managers at the first sign of a blip in form, we will get nowhere.
Its a bad start granted, but im sure we will put things right.
